Abstract This study examined the Central Tree Banking (CTB) mobile monitoring application for tree conservation and environmental empowerment. A mixed methods research design was utilized to achieve the objectives of assessing participants' awareness and knowledge, describing CTB app features, evaluating ease of use and effectiveness, and exploring participants' experiences during tree planting. Quantitative data were collected through survey interviews, revealing a high level of awareness and knowledge regarding conservation and environmental empowerment. However, some participants were not familiar with the law pertaining to environmental responsibilities. Thematic analysis of qualitative data from participants' experiences highlighted the convenience and usefulness of the CTB app for tree conservation. The study concluded that the CTB app, with its user-friendly interface and comprehensive functionalities, has the potential to contribute to environmental stewardship and empower individuals in their tree conservation efforts. Recommendations were made to enhance the app's usability and effectiveness based on user feedback.
